Springtime in Edmonton

If you plan on visiting Edmonton, Alberta Canada in the spring or are a resident looking for something to do, we suggest you join the wilderness and experience Edmonton under the stars. Camping is one of those adventures where you can get creative, let loose and enjoy yourself without a care in the world.

Edmonton’s spring weather can be unpredictable at times, but we typically see better weather patterns, which make it a great time to go camping. Since we folks love to tent in the great outdoors, Edmonton has many camping sites that are perfect for a weekend  or week long trip.

There are spots where you can set up tent in the most rustic of atmospheres where running water is sparse and electricity is non-existent. If you still want the comforts of modern amenities, an organized campground is a great way to go. Many of these locations are suitable to bring the whole family, pets included.

Many camp sites in Edmonton-Alberta have spots available for tenting, RV hookup and even cabin rental. If you plan on sleeping in a tent or cabin, make sure restroom facilities are within close proximity. If you’re bringing your RV, check ahead of time that the site has power, water and sewer hook ups if you find those to be a necessity.
