The whole family can also take a close look at the night sky with the World of Science’s planetarium or observatory, which offers stargazing hours Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Looking for something more thrilling? Check out the Whitemud Amusement Park! Offering bumper boats, mini golf, batting cages and more, plus a kiddie park for younger visitors, your whole family is sure to have a fantastic play day at Whitemud.

For older children or anyone with a shopping itch, stop by West Edmonton Mall – the largest mall in North America. Home to more than 800 stores and 100-plus eateries, the mall is billed as “the most comprehensive retail, hospitality and entertainment complex on Earth.” There’s fun for all ages as well, as the mall is home to numerous entertainment venues, including World Waterpark’s waterslides and wave pools, Galaxyland indoor amusement park – the largest of its kind in the world! – and the Ice Palace’s skating opportunities.
